NVR 120 Years: Electoral Gender Parity – The New Feminist Elan

On 14th December, the Director of Gender Concerns International, Sabra Bano, will be co-chairing a special session on Women and Governance as part of the 'Feminext - woman of the future' event celebrating the 120th anniversary (1898-2018) of The Dutch Women's Council (Nederlandse Vrouwen Raad - NVR). The Dutch Women's Council has put together a program, including Marianne Verhoeven (editor-in-chief OPZIJ), Cocky Booij (director VHTO), Clarice Gargard (UN Women's Representative 2019), Soundos El Ahmadi (comedian), Jacqueline Prins (director Emancipation OCW) and Mariëtte Hamer (chairman SER). Gender Concerns International, in its commitment to support women's full integration into electoral and policy-making processes, will participate in a session on Women and Governance, together with Huri Sahin, member of the Public Administration Board, and Maïta van der Mark, Strategic Advisor or NVR.

The event will take place between 10:00 and 16:00, in the building of KPMG, at the Laan van Langerhuize 1 in Amstelveen.
