To mark 100 years of the acknowledgment of women’s voting rights in the Netherlands, the GEOM has observed women’s electoral participation as voters, candidates and women’s presence within election management bodies and election administrative processes during the Dutch parliamentary elections on 15 March.
This mission has resulted in a report that holds recommendations for the Dutch government, political parties, the election commission (kiesraad), and the media.
Tuesday 4th July, this report will be presented to the chair of the Commission of Internal Affairs, Pia Dijkstra, at the Binnenhof.
More information about this presentation can be found here.
After the presentation, the report can soon be found on the website of Gender Concerns International.
