International Expert Conference Opens on 'Women, Powerful Agents for Peace and Security'

The conference was opened by the Dutch Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, Lilianne Ploumen, through a video message. Ms. Ploumen emphasised the importance of the Netherlands in support of efforts regarding Women, Peace and Security.

Representatives of Gender Concerns International attended the conference to take part in the dialogue and planning going forward.
