Government Policy Accord: More Money for Development Cooperation

The government policy of the Dutch government has been presented after 208 days of discussion and delibaration. The Dutch government will invest more money in Development Cooperation. A total of 1.75 billion euros will be allocated in the coming four years. Together with the budget for Foreign Trade, the amount comes down to 4 billion euros. This number is 0.5 percent of the gross national product. The norm set by the United Nations is 0.7 percent. You can find the government policy here.
