This week the Project Team for the initiative “Enhancing Women's Economic Participation: Addressing the Gender-Gap in North-West Tunisia”, launched an awareness-raising campaign in the governorates of Beja, Jendouba, Kef and Siliana. The campaign focuses on reinforcing women’s economic participation by informing women about their rights to participate in the economy on equal terms.

The pictures show the project team interacting with women at local markets, distributing posters and flyers.

Enhancing Women's Economic Participation: Addressing the Gender-Gap in North-West Tunisia” is an initiative by Gender Concerns International, implemented in partnership with Association Tunisienne des Femmes Democrates (ATFD), and with support and funding from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Tunisia.
