15th Annual Implementation Meeting on the Declaration of Principles for International Election Observation

The 15^th annual Implementation Meeting on the Declaration of Principles for International Election Observation was organised and hosted by the European Parliament in Brussels last month, between 6^th-8^th December. Gender Concerns International joined other leading election observation organisations to examine current trends and issues faced by observers.

The meeting concluded by issuing a Joint Communique, establishing the benefits of co-operation between International and non-partisan citizen election observer organisations. This is highly beneficial in furthering the advancement of democratic elections throughout the world and one in which Gender Concerns International is looking forward to continuing to engage in the process.
