Bassima Hakkaoui was appointed yesterday at the Social and Women's Affairs Ministry as the only woman in the 31-member cabinet. "This is a step back" declared Khadija Riyadi, president of the Moroccan Association of Human Rights.

"People need social institutions, they promote human interaction.
